Job Type:Full Time Start Date:August 26, 2024 Application Deadline:August 24, 2024 Education:4-Year Degree Required Experience Level:Mid-level Salary:At least USD $64,000 / year JOB SUMMARY The Program Manager, Medium-and Heavy-Duty (MDHD) will be a key member of our growing team, responsible for managing a diverse program portfolio that advances alternative fuel and electric vehicle adoption in New York. This person will be responsible for managing the development of our Community-driven EV Charging Deployment Plan for the South Bronx, as well as supporting the decarbonization of the freight community throughout NYC and the Lower Hudson Valley. We are seeking someone who is highly organized and detail oriented to ensure grant-funded projects stay on schedule, enthusiastic about community outreach and engagement, and able to play several roles to support our efforts to improve air quality for New Yorkers and mitigate the effects of climate change. The Program Manager, MDHD will report directly to the Executive Director, working closely with ECC’s staff, interns, Board of Directors, Bronx is Breathing project team, and large stakeholder base. This is a full-time, salaried position. While the position is remote, candidate must be located in the NYC Metropolitan area and be willing to travel to local events 3-4 times per month. This position will also contribute to and support the growth of ECC’s diverse portfolio of initiatives that reduce transportation emissions in New York. We are seeking someone who is highly organized and detail oriented to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, enthusiastic about stakeholder outreach and engagement, and able to play several roles to support our efforts to improve air quality for New Yorkers and mitigate the effects of climate change. The Program Manager will report directly to the Executive Director, working closely with ECC’s Partnership and Policy Manager, Program Managers, Communications and Outreach Coordinator, interns, Board of Directors, and large stakeholder base.
