Exhaust Retrofit Technology
To reduce exhaust emissions, including particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), and other air pollutants from diesel engines, an exhaust retrofit device can be installed on new or existing internal combustion engines for vehicles. Some examples of technology include Diesel Oxidation Catalysts, Passive Diesel Particulate Filters, and Active Diesel Particulate Filters. |

Empire Green Fleets (EGF) provides guidance and reliable verification for fleets that are reducing or planning to reduce their environmental impact through the adoption of clean alternative fuels, fuel efficiency measures, and other sustainability policies in their operations. Empire Clean Cities helps EGF applicants collect vehicle information, measure emissions of five key pollutants, and benchmark your fleet against conventional fleets of the same size and make-up.
