Odyssey Day is an outreach and education event dedicated to promoting cleaner choices in transportation. Our mission is to educate the public on public and private business leaders who are committed to greening their own local communities by spreading the word on alternative fuel vehicles and technologies.

The 1st Annual Conference, held as a mini-conference on October 9th, is co-hosted by NYU-Poly. Empire Clean Cities’ goal is to discuss emerging topics around sustainability, and answer questions like what is NYC doing to be innovative, and what can we learn from other cities and their innovative solutions.
The focus of the conference is "Innovations and Infrastructure", the two topics of discussion:
  • Inside Look into Electrifying our Future
  • Transportation in the Urban Form

Joining us on the panels will be:

  • John Markowitz, Lead Engineer (NYPA)
  • Nick Nigro, Senior Manager of Transportation Initiatives (C2ES)
  • Jaycie Chitwood, Manager, Advanced Technologies Group (Toyota USA)
  • Adam Lubinsky, Principal (WXY Studios)
  • Dr. John Falcocchio, Professor of Transportation Planning and Engineering (NYU-Poly)
  • Keri Tyler, Senior Project Manager (NYC DOT)
  • Steven Monks, Founder and COO (Hevo Power)

And a few more coming!
