Christina Ficicchia, Executive Director
Ms. Ficicchia is currently the Executive Director at Empire Clean Cities (EmpireCC), acting as the US Department of Energy Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator for the region. Ms. Ficicchia worked as an economic and environmental planner with Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation before becoming the Executive Director of EmpireCC. She has worked on renewable energy projects, Green roof projects, green building and other energy efficiency and improvement projects. As the executive director, Ms. Ficicchia develops and executes long-range organizational goals, provides support and management related to the operations of the non-profit organization, develops strategies and programs that fulfill its mission, seeks out increased membership enrollment and funding and promotes the acceptance of alternative fuel fleet vehicles. Collaborating with State, County and Federal regulatory agencies, interest groups, media, consultants, non-profits and other Clean Cities Coalitions, Christina help to develop policies, coordinate work, and exchange information. Ms. Ficicchia coordinates various local educational and outreach events and represents the Coalition in public and private forums.

Jennifer Urrutia, Program Coordinator
Ms.Urrutia is the Program Coordinator at Empire Clean Cities. Prior to working at Empire Clean Cities, Ms. Urrutia was the Marketing Coordinator for car2go car-sharing, a Daimler subsidiary. She is currently a Graduate student focusing on Sustainable Engineering with the goal of increasing urban sustainability and health. She graduated with her BS from the University of California, Davis in 2013 and is now attending the City College of New York in Harlem, NY. In her role at Empire Clean Cities, Ms. Urrutia assists with managing grants, organization marketing and outreach strategies, as well as coordinating projects to promote the reduction of petroleum dependency in New York State.
